Virtual Lunch & Learn – A Diagnosis of Breast Cancer and Detecting It in Dense Breasts

Sheila Mikhail will share her experience of her recent diagnosis of breast cancer and the disadvantages of mammograms in detecting breast cancer in women with dense breasts. She is spreading the word on social media and as many platforms as possible to make all women aware of this. She’s also working to change the law in North Carolina to mandate insurance coverage for supplemental breast screening to detect cancer earlier in women with dense breasts.
